Delete your Vivaera account

Last updated: 24 August 2026

You can delete your account and your data at any time, and you do not need anyone’s permission to do it. There are two ways.

In the app — fastest

This takes effect immediately.

  1. Open Vivaera and go to Profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and data are removed straight away.

You will also find Delete account under the More tab.

By email — if you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to the App or your account, email privacy@vivaera.app from the email address you registered with, asking us to delete your account.

We will confirm your identity, delete the account, and email you when it is done. We aim to complete requests within 7 days and always within the 30 days required by UK GDPR.

Emailing from the address on the account is what lets us verify the request quickly. If you no longer have access to that mailbox either, write from any address and we will ask you a few questions to confirm the account is yours — we would rather be slow than delete the wrong person’s trips.

What we may keep, and why

We keep a limited amount of information where the law requires it or where we need it to protect other members:
